What the live quote represents
The market panel on Sovereign Stack displays a timestamped reference quote in U.S. dollars per troy ounce. It is not a guaranteed transaction price and may differ from dealer quotes.
Physical products include fabrication
Bars, coins and rounds must be refined, formed, inspected, packaged and distributed. Those steps are reflected in the retail price.
Product form matters
A one-ounce generic silver round, a government-minted coin and a hand-poured collectible can contain similar metal weight yet sell at very different premiums because their production, recognition and demand differ.
Use a repeatable comparison
Record the live reference price, delivered product price, contained metal weight and seller terms. This makes it easier to compare products without being distracted by labels such as sale, limited or exclusive.
Never rely on one number
Price matters alongside authenticity, liquidity, storage, insurance and personal cash-flow needs. Precious metals should not replace emergency savings or money needed for near-term obligations.
